Travel to Espoo

Public transport services are excellent from Helsinki to Espoo. There is a highly practical and user-friendly app called: HSL. You can make a note of where you want to go, and the app will suggest the best way to get there, as well as which ticket to buy (depending on which zones A, B, C or D you want to travel in). 


Helsinki Centre = Zone A
To get from the Helsinki centre to ESPOO (pre-conference location) = Zone AB
Getting from the airport to the centre = Zone ABC

Tip: Load the payment method in advance (VISA, Mastercard or American Express) onto the app.

To get to the pre-conference

There are several ways to get here, but the easiest is to come from Helsinki Central Station by train (Line A, Station: Leppävaara), or by bus (Bus number 200, Stop: Leppävaaran keskus). On the HSL app, you indicate the place of departure (central station = Kaivokatu) and the place of the pre-conference (Juvenalia, Soittoniekanaukio 1 B, Espoo). The app will then show you all the options and the ticket you need to buy.

• Registration for the 2024 IVMTC Pre-Conference Seminar is now open here.
• There is a limit on the number of attendees. Registrations will close once we reach the limit.
